IndiGo baggage handler dozes off in plane’s cargo area, reaches Abu Dhabi

Aviation regulator DGCA said the IndiGo baggage handler was medically examined by authorities at Abu Dhabi and sent back as a passenger to Mumbai on the return flight.

Over 8.5 lakh Indians gave up citizenship in past 7 years till Sept 30: Govt

  • Earlier, Union minister of state for home affairs Nityanand Rai had told the Parliament that 1,11,287 Indian nationals renounced their citizenship this year itself till September 20.
The central government recently informed the Parliament that 10,645 foreign nationals, mostly from Pakistan and Afghanistan, applied for Indian citizenship between 2016 and 2020.
